Spliit is a self-hosted Splitwise alternative built with Next.js and deployable in one click to Vercel or Docker. It handles the full expense-splitting workflow including receipt scanning, image attachments, and uneven splits. The codebase is TypeScript-based with a clean UI powered by shadcn/UI and Tailwind.
Requires Node 18+, PostgreSQL database, and Docker for containerized deployment. Optional: AWS S3 for document storage, OpenAI API for receipt/category extraction.
